I would like to tell you a story about my family. It's a very old story. Moreover it's a story about our favourite holiday in the year. I think that the most memorable days in my family are days on New Year. Because, all these new year's holidays we spend together and have a lot of fun. I like spending time with my family. We always go skating, skiing and playing snowballs.

We celebrate this holiday at our country house. We build a very big Christmas Tree and dress it up with different balls, toys and sweets. On the 31st of December we cook meals and in the evening we dress and do our make- up. Usually our relatives arrive to our party too. It's a family holiday, so we always celebrate it together.

I think, it's very important to show your family that you love them. And also, by the way, when the clock beats twelve, we wish each other good wishes and after it we give presents to each other.

I would like to tell you a story about my family. New Year is my favorite holiday. I was always covered with a strange feeling that something should happen joyful and magical. There are a festive atmosphere, everybody prepares for the holiday - they choose beautiful Christmas tree, buy different fruits, sweets, prepare gifts for the relatives. Since childhood, the New Year is like a fairy tale to me.

We start to prepare for the celebration in advance. My family clean the house, decorate the Christmas tree, decorate the room balls, garlands, beautiful toys, festive lights, candles. I love Christmas wreath with branches of pine needles, bright ribbons and figures of angels. Previously, I had only seen a foreign film, and now the fashion came up to us.

Mother always prepares something unusual for the festive tableI. I try not to sleep for the time of arrival of the new year under the chiming clock. The fireworks stars after the las blow in the street, which can last an hour. Every year we come to visit relatives and friends. We have fun, different contests, dancing, singing. It is always very interesting, but I usually go to sleep early. In the morning, I run immediately to the tree to see what I got.

It is especially well when the New Year's Night is frosty snowy weather. The windows of all the houses flashing colored lights. They are celebrating and having fun. Apparently, the New Year is a common holiday, so the celebration is amazing!
