Susan: Hi Ashley!

Ashley: Hello Susan. I haven't seen you for 3 months, how are you? Did you go on holidays? You have a great tan!

Susan: Well, yes, I went to Egypt with my parents.

Ashley: It sounds fantastic! How long did you stay there? Was it great? Come on, tell me more!

Susan: We stayed there for 2 weeks and it was fantastic. We visited The Pyramid of Cheops and I liked it so much! What about you, what did you do during summer?

Ashley: I am afraid to disappoint you, but I was helping my mother with work in a book shop. You can't fancy how many interesting books I have red there. I really liked it there so I am going to help my mother twice a week after school.

Susan: Don't be silly, you can go for a walk with your friends instead of being in a shop.

Ashley: Well. I really enjoyed helping my mother and reading. It is worth it!

Сьюзан: не говори глупостей, ты можешь гулять с друзьями вместо работы в магазине.

Эшли: ну, мне правда нравится помогать маме и читать. Оно того стоит!

Masha: Hi Vasya. I'm glad to see you. How are you?

Vasya: Hi, Masha. I'm fine, thank you! It's good to see you too on the first day of new school year. How was your summer? Did you go anywhere during the holidays?

Masha: It was great as usual. I like such long holidays. However, when you stay at home for too long, you start missing the school, the lessons, your classmates. And, I did go to the beach for a week.

Vasya: I agree. I was also a bit bored to stay at home for almost three months. Fortunately, we travelled at some point.

Masha: Where did you go?

Vasya: We went to Spain for a week. My uncle lives there with his family. He was happy to see us. Later, we went to the countryside to visit my grandparents. I stayed there for two weeks. The rest of the holiday I spent at home

Masha: I see. Sounds like a good holiday.

Vasya: How about you? You said you were at the beach. Where did you go?

Masha: We went to Hawaii this summer. I should say the beach there was fantastic. White sand and beautiful sea - that's all you need for a good beach vacation. We played beach volleyball there, sunbathed and swam in the sea, of course. How about Spain? Did you visit any interesting sights there?

Vasya: Yes, we did. My uncle lives not far from Barcelona, so we went to see the Picasso Museum.

Masha: I would like to go there sometimes too. I'll ask my parents if we can go to Spain for the next holiday

Vasya: Good idea! I'm sure, you'll like it

Masha: Well, now Vasya it's time to go to the first lesson. Let's hope it's going to be either Geography or History of art
