1. a) Write the verbs in the appropriate tenses.
b) Act out the dialogue.
A: I say, Jim, you travel a lot, don’t you?
J: Yes, I do.
A: And have you ever been to India?
J: Yes, I have. I was there last year. My father is a wild life researcher. He studies animals in the wild, especially endangered animals, and travels all over the world. Sometimes he takes me with him.
A: Great! And you were taken to India too, weren’t you?
J: Yes, last year he went to India to research the life of Indian elephants.
We flew there by a special plane and landed practically in the jungle.
A: And did you see the elephants?
J: Certainly, I did. But my father didn’t let me come close to them. Usually elephants are wise and peaceful animals, but they can be very dangerous, if something gets them angry.
A: Yes, I remember the film about elephants “Wonders of the jungle”, have you seen it?
J: No, I haven’t.
A: I have this video. If you want, you can come to me tomorrow and we will watch it together.
J: OK, and I will bring some photos from India to show you.
A: OK. See you tomorrow then.
J: See you.
