55. A. Изучите комментарии использования «странных» слов.
Most of the words of this group mean “strange because it is not often seen”. But there are exceptions to the rule:
odd = strange and hard to understand or strange in a way that attracts your attention.
curious = unusual and exciting your interest so that you want to know more about it.
uncanny = strange and difficult to explain,
bizarre = very odd and strange.
Большинство слов из группы, обозначающих «странный, потому что раньше такого не видели». Но есть исключения из правил:
odd = странный и трудно понимаемый, или странного таким образом, что привлекает ваше внимание.
curious = необычный и захватывающий интерес, так что вы хотите знать об этом больше.
