A light bulb is thought to be invented and patented by Thomas Edison in 1877. But actually it had been made by a Russian engineer Alexandr Lodygin long before that time in 1873.
An all-metal dirigible is supposed to be designed by Tsiolkovsky in 1886. But in fact the idea had been put forward by Mendeleev not long before that time in 1875.
An aeroplane is thought to be built by Orvillc and Wilbur Wright in 1903. But actually it had been designed by Mozhaisky long before that time in 1878.
It is said that the Cherepanovs invented and built a steam locomotive in 1814. But in fact it had been invented by George Stephenson in 1814.
