• После некоторых глаголов (например, рассказать, посоветовать, попросить), to идет вслед за объектом.

Новый учитель сказал нам быть тише.

• Другие глаголы, такие как нравится, завершить, признаться, возражать, чувствовать, что, не может помочь, с нетерпением ждать, и предотвратить берутся в - ing форме.
